1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following words carry the meanings given below:

• "Sawatdi", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Sawatdi, the course provider, located at 33 Charoen Nakhon Road, Khlong San, Bangkok 10600, Thailand.
• "Service" — the educational courses, materials, live sessions, and related resources offered through our website.
• "User", "you", "your" — any individual who accesses this website or enrols in a Sawatdi course.
• "Content" — all course materials, worksheets, recordings, written guides, and supplementary resources provided as part of a course.
• "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
• "Enrolment" — the confirmed registration of a participant in a specific course, following payment.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting this website or enrolling in any course, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with enrolment.

3. Service Description

Sawatdi provides educational courses on insurance literacy and personal protection planning, delivered through a combination of self-study materials, live online or in-person sessions, and individual review meetings. Courses are designed for adults aged 40 and above residing in or connected to Thailand.

Course availability is subject to minimum participant numbers and scheduling. Sawatdi reserves the right to adjust session dates, delivery format, or course content where reasonably necessary, with reasonable notice provided to enrolled participants.

4. Enrolment and Accounts

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. You are responsible for ensuring that contact details you provide are accurate and up to date. Course materials and session access will be delivered to the email address registered at enrolment.

Where personal accounts are created, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity conducted through your account.

5. User Responsibilities

As a participant, you agree to:

• Engage with course content respectfully and in good faith
• Not share, reproduce, or redistribute course materials without written consent from Sawatdi
• Not record live sessions without prior written agreement from Sawatdi
• Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that could harm other participants or Sawatdi's reputation
• Keep your contact and payment information current

6. Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, worksheets, templates, and written resources are the intellectual property of Sawatdi or our licensed content contributors. Upon enrolment, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use course materials for your personal educational purposes only.

This licence does not permit redistribution, resale, republication, or use in commercial settings. All intellectual property rights remain with Sawatdi.

7. Payment Terms

Pricing

All course prices are displayed in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Current course fees are:

• Understanding Insurance Needs After 40 — ฿4,500
• Health and Critical Illness Coverage — ฿9,800
• Comprehensive Protection Portfolio Design — ฿16,200

Payment methods

Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of enrolment confirmation. Payment in full is required before course access is granted.

Refund policy

Requests for cancellation made more than 14 days before the first session will receive a full refund, less any applicable bank transfer fees. Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days prior will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 7 days of the first session are non-refundable. If Sawatdi cancels a course, enrolled participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative session date.

8. Course-Specific Terms

Each course includes a defined number of live sessions, individual review meetings, and written materials as described on the course detail page. Participants are responsible for attending sessions at the scheduled times. Where attendance is not possible, session recordings may be made available at Sawatdi's discretion, but this cannot be relied upon as an alternative to live participation.

Sawatdi provides educational content for informational purposes. Courses do not constitute financial advice, legal advice, or insurance recommendations. Participants are encouraged to consult licensed professionals before making any insurance or protection decisions.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. While we take care to keep course content accurate and current, we cannot warrant that all information reflects the most recent regulatory developments in Thailand's insurance market. Sawatdi does not make representations about specific financial outcomes from participation in any course.

Sawatdi is not a licensed insurance broker, financial planner, or legal adviser. Course content is educational in nature and should be understood as such.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Sawatdi's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim.

Sawatdi shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of income, loss of opportunity, or any losses arising from decisions made on the basis of course content.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sawatdi harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or any false or misleading information you have provided in connection with your enrolment.

12. Termination

Sawatdi may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, engage in conduct that is disruptive or harmful to other participants, or fail to pay course fees. In such cases, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

You may withdraw from a course at any time, subject to the refund policy in Section 7.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] so that we may attempt to resolve the matter informally. If informal resolution is not possible, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

14. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement — these Terms, together with our Privacy and Cookie Policies, constitute the full agreement between you and Sawatdi.
• Severability — if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• Waiver — failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
• Assignment — you may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent.

15. Changes to These Terms

Sawatdi may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our courses, practices, or applicable law. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled participants. Continued use of the Service following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
