Why Sawatdi

A Considered Approach to Protection

Built Around Your Life Stage

The content recognises that adults over 40 face distinct considerations — dependants, assets, health trajectories, and retirement timelines all shape what coverage makes sense.

Neutral and Product-Independent

Sawatdi does not represent any insurer. The courses help you evaluate options on your own terms, without being directed toward any particular product or provider.

Grounded in Thai Context

All content reflects Thailand's insurance landscape — including OIC regulations, social security provisions, and the specific policy structures available to residents.

Unhurried, Structured Pacing

Each course is paced so you have time to absorb, question, and reflect. There is no pressure to complete quickly or move to a purchasing decision.

Practical Tools You Keep

Worksheets, checklists, templates, and comparison charts accompany each course. These are yours to use beyond the course as your situation evolves.

Live Sessions for Real Questions

Each course includes live sessions where you can ask questions in a small, attentive setting. General questions and personal scenarios are both welcome.

Common Questions

What People Often Ask

Do I need any prior knowledge of insurance to join?
No prior knowledge is needed. The courses start from a foundation level and build progressively. Course 1 in particular is designed for someone approaching insurance questions for the first time — or revisiting them after years without thinking about coverage.
Are the courses delivered online or in person?
The self-study materials are provided digitally and accessible at your own pace. Live sessions — which are included in each course — can be attended online via video call or, for Bangkok-based participants, in person at our Khlong San office.
How long does each course take to complete?
Course 1 is typically completed over three to four weeks at a comfortable pace. Course 2 generally takes four to six weeks. Course 3 — being the most comprehensive — is structured over eight to ten weeks, including workshop and advisory sessions.
Will the courses tell me which insurance product to buy?
No. Sawatdi does not sell or recommend specific insurance products, and our courses are designed to help you think through your own situation — not to direct you toward a purchase. The goal is that you leave each course better equipped to evaluate options independently.
Is the content relevant for expatriates living in Thailand?
Yes. While the courses focus on Thailand's insurance environment, they acknowledge the particular circumstances of expatriates — including different eligibility rules, international policy considerations, and the interaction between local and overseas coverage.
What payment methods are accepted?
Bank transfer (Thai baht), PromptPay, and major credit cards are all accepted. Payment details are provided after enrolment confirmation. We do not require payment before you've had a chance to ask questions and confirm the course is right for you.
